In Okehampton, Devon, you can find a lovely little cemetery beside what is left of a castle that was constructed back in 1195. Remnants of the tower, that was used as a prison, still stands today and you can wonder through. It is run by the English Heritage as a tourist attraction.
There is no cost to visit the castle or the graveyard and it’s a great way to spend about an hour.
You can find more information on the history of the castle here.
